Information Architecture

The first step of the MVP is creating a structural overview of features, dependencies, and navigation, which will guide product requirements, user flow, and UI design.

The initial step of UI design creation is to develop a UI kit. This is a collection of reusable UI components, templates, resources, and styles which makes the design process much more efficient. Then it’s time to begin the process of designs themselves; the look, feel, and interactivity of the product and draw individual screens. It’s also possible to turn these designs into a clickable prototype with Figma or Figma Mirror.

After the designs have been signed off, the development process can begin. This involves coding individual components, putting them together in the correct layout, and building the logic required for the product to function correctly.

We helped plan and design the system, which would automate the process of generating and amending contracts and tied this in with a portal allowing clients to track trademark applications and view hours spent by lawyers on their individual matters.

Pets Lets came to us 4 years ago with a goal to turn their Wordpress website into a market-leading platform that would be the go-to resource for tenants with pets looking for rental properties in the UK. We started by researching the market and coming up with a business and financial case alongside the client to ensure the project had scope for success.

We created a heirarchical requirements catalogue of all the features the platform could have or would need. We prioritised them on a MoSCoW basis (Must have, Should have, Could have, Want), to understand what the MVP (minimum viable product) should include.We then began work on the design including UI kit, icons and visuals.
